Product Description
- 100% linen thread, strength NeL 39.7/3 (42 tex x3 - approx. 0.3 mm) with a length of 50 m.
- The thread is wound in a ball format with a diameter of approximately 4 cm. The ball is placed in a plastic case with a hole for threading the thread. The plastic case protects the thread not only from dirt but also from the effects of light, thereby increasing its lifespan.
- Button threads are treated with a polishing process, which involves wetting the yarn in a special stiffening agent and then polishing it. The result is a smooth, strong, and well-starched linen thread.
- Advantages of linen threads: high strength, low elongation, high luster, and resistance to wear. More resistant to heat, light, and weathering than cotton threads.
- These linen threads are stronger but still softer than regular linen threads. Ideal for both hand and machine sewing, ensuring high durability.
- Also suitable for bobbin lace making and other domestic crafts.
