Jana Novak is a perfectionist. For this reason, she adapted some commonly used techniques to give lace a beautiful look. She also invented other techniques and illustrated them precisely. The whole process is documented with a large number of drawings.

1. The first book, entitled The Beginning, contains more than 100 detailed drawings, where each thread is carefully drawn. With this work, Jana Novak is passing on her thirty years of experience to the next generations of lacemakers all over the world.
2. The second volume, called Basic , gives advice on how to make the best use of basic techniques and introduces Jana Novak´s new solutions for connecting two pieces of lace in a simple way, even without using a hook. The book also includes a variety of lace borders including those with a distinct texture, crossing multiple pairs in one point, and more. The illustrations are precise and easy to read.
3. The third book in the Perfect Lace Techniques series is titled Corners and Arcs . This volume follows on from the previous parts 1 and 2. The key technique is full corners without holes, a corner with one thread inserted and other techniques developed by Jana Novak. These selected techniques can be used in free clothing creation as well as in the creation of practical art.
4. The fourth volume contains effects that give the lace an unusual, interesting look. Correctly chosen technique will strengthen even the lace made with a mallet. It can also be washed.
5. The fifth volume contains techniques and advice on how to finish the lace subtly, but also completely invisible.
